Re: Tool for analysing guild-donations

Anyway, aside from that, here are a few useful additions idea: 1. Total value of donations per account (based on the Resource Quantity field) 2. Filters for From and To guilds (so, for example, we can see donations to our guild from our guild members only - like for promotion purposes) Also, when I ...

Re: Tool for analysing guild-donations

Based on this from McAfee, it's say it's probably a false positive. Basically McAfee is saying it doesn't really know what this file does so... panic! delete! danger will robinson! https://service.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/oracle/webcenter/page/scopedMD/s55728c97_466d_4ddb_952d_05484ea932c6/Page29...

I couldn't find a log, so I tried to download it again - here's the result:

Re: Tool for analysing guild-donations

I don't think you were doing anything malicious and I'm sure it was a false positive. I'll see if I can dig up the log, but it's been a while, I'm not sure what the retention policy is....

Re: Tool for analysing guild-donations

I downloaded it just to see how it works and McAfee Endpoint Security immediately threw a warning about a Trojan and deleted the file. I never even tried to run it. *shrug*

Re: What about Pathfinder Online?

It looks like Neverwinter did in alpha, actually. Before the feat tree existed at when the Power tree was just a linear progression from top to bottom as you leveled rather than it being point selections. My guess is there will be a lot of improvements before it's in GA. If not.. it won't go anywhere.

Re: Scammers

Yeah, you should never allow Rank 1 members invite rights OR bank access. Past rank 1 is up to the guild leaders, but Rank 1 should have effectively no access to anything including guild invites. Anyway, I have no faith in reporting scammers. I've reported them many times and gotten the auto-respons...

Andy's no so bad, but he's also the low man on the totem pole, so he doesn't really have the ability to make any calls on his own. Alex is his boss, but is mearly the communications guy, so while he might be in a position to decide what is and isn't told to the public (and is more likely only one of...

Re: Shards Online

Watching that video - it feels a lot like a non-D&D version of the original Neverwinter Nights. Interesting... Seems like the idea here is the developers build the game and mechanics, and perhaps provide one shard's worth of content (maybe, or maybe it's just the starting point / hub and only has tu...

Oh, wow, I JUST got through commenting how I felt UO was probably the best MMO of all time with regards to character progression and how I wish there was a modern MMO that used a similar system system. HAHA, what a coincidence. :)

Re: And i am off to skyforge

And that's the biggest diff from NWO, as you get more powerful you get more and more stuff to do, patches add new content for the high end players, they don't remove content or reuse some old maps and call it new content. They aren't reusing content *yet* Neverwinter was fairly new each time up unt...

My guesses on those: Barlgurabracelet --- is a arm item ("bracelet") Glabrezuclaw - a weapon? hard to say, maybe an arm? Zytharhauberk -- is a chest item ("hauberk") Tiamat is a disasterous pile of shit. It was a massive failure from the start. Normally, I would hope they'd have the good sense not t...

Re: NWO:UN DevTracker

I'd suggest one change to this tracker: You should consider separating out Strumslinger and Yetweallfalldown's posts from real devs. Those two aren't actually devs afterall, and the bulk of Strum's posts are basically something to the effect of "I'll let the devs know" and Yet's are mostly just some...

Re: amount of forums/sections

Eventually, xbox and PC will be the same, they're only a mod behind now. Cryptic is compressing the time between module updates on xbox so that, eventually, they'll be on the same release timelines. Once that happens, it doesn't really matter if you play on PC or xbox other than maybe reporting bugs...

Re: Player TheAssistMan Vents Frustration In YouTube Video

It makes people feel better, if nothing else that's a plus since NW doesn't seem to do that despite the "game" label. That video wasn't bad - it got a little old since he repeats himself a lot, but it really wasn't anything new. The more interesting part though is that it's from Xbox - which is supp...

Re: Gateway Guild Roster

Well.... hell. I gave up on Cryptic this week so I guess it's irrelevant at this point, but yeah, that definitely would have made things easier. I don't have root access to any Linux servers other than at work, so I can't actually run this, but given it has a pretty clear signature, I don't think I ...

No, I wouldn't say it's dead yet, but it's definitely bleeding out for sure. Hell, even I gave it up and I've been playing since Alpha and have been a huge supporter of the game for years. I think what's going to happen is that there will always be exploiters and there will be a lot of churn in lowe...

Re: Holy Fuck The kids on the forums are going APESHIT.

They should be going apeshit. Cryptic has made stupid mistake after stupid mistake - at some point, you poke enough holes in it, the dam will break. I'm glad the mods aren't trying to stem the flood - maybe the people at Cryptic will actually see how irate people are for a change and maybe... just m...
