Way too many vouchers dropping on the new event map
I do not think that it's intended.
We made 300k ToD, 300k IWD, 70k Sharandar, 600AD, 90k surplus and 23k gems with 7 people within 4 hours.
We started GH 12 and almost have enough for marketplace 6 now...
That must be unintentional. Did anybody see this getting reported in offical forums? I did not see it on reddit yet. The devs must have scrwed up internal cooldowns or dropchances or both.
I mean we are quite happy with it at the moment but that will skyrocket guild progress across the board. With guild alliances on the horizon it might drastically change who can qualify for which rank in the alliance hirarchy just by excessive activity in this event.

I just can't think it is intentional. We are going to make so much progress.NWO:Uncensored wrote:Thanks for the report!

Influence vouchers drop on the battlefield or no? I didn't get any for that except from the quest reward pack.

They do but with reduced chance. Like 2 influence every 40 others.beckylunatic wrote:Influence vouchers drop on the battlefield or no? I didn't get any for that except from the quest reward pack.

Would be even easier if people didn't keep coming in and ending the good farming HE by killing the boss.

At this point they made what they were going to make off Strongholds for money, I think its intentional. If a few guilds can puch a couple of levels of things out during this time, kudos to them.

I'm kinda hoping for this.Silverkelt wrote:At this point they made what they were going to make off Strongholds for money, I think its intentional. If a few guilds can puch a couple of levels of things out during this time, kudos to them.
Also, at some point they have to grasp the fact that happy players tend to spend more, now that the whales are done pouring money into the Mimic it might be a good idea to try and make the more casual players happy...

Re: Way too many vouchers dropping on the new event map
Getting vouchers to drop is basically a matter of being the player dealing the most damage. If you farm with a guild, it doesn't really matter since you all benefit. If you're the only one in your guild doing it, then try to find a map with few players.

Re: Way too many vouchers dropping on the new event map
Once the maps are filled with players the voucher drop rate is pretty normal. I'd guess that Cryptic tested it with 5+ players and decided it was fine without testing to see how drops were with one or two players.beckylunatic wrote:Getting vouchers to drop is basically a matter of being the player dealing the most damage. Good way for many guilds to catch up on the progress to get ready for alliances. The grind-wall is still standing strong as the influence is required the most, even if you can donate every other currency ad hoc.

Not so sure if its a complaint about the free vouchers, or a comment on the shoddy programming practices as displayed by the "free" vouchers

Re: Way too many vouchers dropping on the new event map
Trying to get enough Influence to upgrade the hall just to clear some space in the coffers is killing me. I think I can do it today though. Been using the Stronghold Support Rewards. I have basically zero use for anything else from the event except changing all the cult insignias for Quartermaster enchants.etelgrin wrote:Good way for many guilds to catch up on the progress to get ready for alliances.
